Late Summer

Queen Ann’s Lace

The Queen Ann’s lace is brazenly rampant this year.  She must like it dry, since this is a summer of less rain.

The summer season of playing house parties is winding down for our blues (etc.) band.  We enjoyed the last two – one where we played by the pool and another inside someone’s house.  But it is time to get back to the business of poetry.  Typically in summer submissions are down, but here we have some great new material to publish from Michael J. Vaughn at Eye On Life to jump start things.  We were very pleased that he also provided us with YouTube recordings of his poems.

In other news, I published an article about practicing instant forgiveness.  We all hang onto grudges, but of course these do not serve us.  They are just part of the needless baggage that slows us down on the way to realizing our desires.
